Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to make a great first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers create their initial opinion of your home and how you upkeep home's regular maintenance.
Acknowledging this assists us in deciding what plan of action we can use to attract buyers from the street and into your house. If your home's exterior isn't inviting with retouched paint and bright greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Touring your place with a critical eye, I'll suggest changes that build up sales appeal.
I'll suggest that you put out of sight anything that gives the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be free and clear. Brick-a-brack, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator works of art should get moved out of sight. We'll de-clutter your house. Unsightly or messy spots make your home seem unkempt and buyers have a harder time picturing themselves living there.
Every area gets a once-over. I'll point out the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that need shining, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively affect the sale.
Potential buyers like to see a property that draws them in with charm. Items that could be "loud" should go into storage so that your house will have impress buyers at the open house.

Setting the Stage
At your Open House, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. To counteract darkness is important and we'll draw back curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and ensure a delightful aroma flows from every area. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and throw pillows on your sofa and bedding. Buyers should feel like your home has the potential to be. |
